About ICCA 2028

From May 7-10, 2028, the global international arbitration community will gather on Nob Hill in San Francisco for the 28th ICCA Congress, returning to the United States and coming to the West Coast for the first time. 

Hosted in one of the world’s most innovative and globally connected cities, ICCA 2028 will examine how international arbitration evolves in an era of technological transformation, economic interdependence, and geopolitical change. At the intersection of commerce, technology, and culture, San Francisco provides a compelling setting for a Congress that both honors arbitration’s foundations and looks decisively to its future.

Who Attends

The ICCA Congress brings together more than 1,000 participants from across the international dispute resolution community, including arbitrators, counsel and advocates, in-house counsel, academics, judges, policymakers, and other dispute resolution professionals.

ICCA Congress 2028 – Pre-Registration Information

Thank you for your interest in the ICCA Congress 2028 in San Francisco (7–10 May 2028). Please review the following important information before completing your pre-registration. Pre-registration will NOT automatically register you for the 2028 Congress.   

Congress Registration Overview

The Congress registration fee includes:

• Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception (Sunday, 7 May 2028)
• All working sessions, conference materials, coffee breaks, and lunches (Monday–Wednesday, 8–10 May 2028)
• Young ICCA After Party

The Congress registration fee does not include:

• Gala Dinner (available as an additional option; limited capacity, first-come, first-served)
• Travel and accommodation arrangements

Key Policies

Discount and Eligibility

Discount and cancellation information will be published once registration goes live.

Accompanying Persons:

• May attend the Gala Dinner with a registered Congress participant
• Must be a spouse, partner, child, or similarly close personal relation (not colleagues or friends)

Payment

Full payment will be required at the time of registration.

Visa & Travel

Participants are responsible for securing appropriate travel documentation. Invitation letters may be issued upon confirmed registration. 

Program Changes

ICCA reserves the right to modify program details, including speakers, venues, and schedule.

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to adhere to ICCA’s standards of professionalism and respectful engagement throughout the Congress.

Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data collected through pre-registration and registration for ICCA 2028 will be used to communicate with you about the Congress, notify you when registration opens, and facilitate and administer your participation in the Congress. 

Data may be shared with trusted third-party service providers for event-related purposes.
