Program Description:

Experienced, practicing mediators can expand their toolboxes of techniques with a blend of mediation strategies that often proves more useful and effective than traditional methods. Developing three core skill sets – advanced strategies, ethics, and technology – can help practitioners advance from “average” to “masterclass.” The course is organized into four 75-minute pre-recorded self-study presentations and two 90-minute live, interactive skills-building practicums to provide a comprehensive learning experience for all.

Module 1: Core Competencies – Revelations from Recent Research in the Field
Module 2: Blending Advanced Mediation Strategies
Module 3: Relational Strategies
Module 4: Online Nuances, Communication and Etiquette

Program Schedule: 

Monday, January 20th: Access to prerecorded self-study modules 1 and 2
Saturday, January 25th: Live Practicum #1 via Zoom (11:00am - 12:30pm PT)
Monday, January 27th: Access to prerecorded self-study modules 3 and 4
Saturday, February 1st: Live Practicum #2 via Zoom (11:00am - 12:30pm PT)

CLE Information:

The AAA has not applied for and is not offering CLE credits in any jurisdiction for this program. Registrants desiring CLE credit (or those professionals in a discipline other than the practice of law) will be able to request a certificate of attendance, which may be used for self-pursuit of CLE credit in their jurisdictions.
