Partner – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, L.L.P.  Thirty years experience as a civil trial lawyer in state and federal courts in commercial, complex, products, toxic tort, and transportation matters. Registered neutral with Georgia Supreme Court Office of Dispute Resolution since the inception of that program in 1994.  Member of the commercial mediation panel of AAA. Since 1991, has routinely mediated cases involving large, complex commercial issues, and personal injury matters, with substantial potential monetary damages at issue, including breach of contract for sales, services, employment, franchise, real property, dissolution of partnerships, commissions, insurance bad faith, construction of insurance contract, indemnification and subrogation issues, vendor disputes, claims for slander and libel, product liability claims resulting in property damage or personal injury, freight claims, and sexual misconduct, abuse, and harassment claims.  Trainer, Collaborative Law Institute of Georgia, Civil Collaborative Law Training, (ICLE of Georgia).

Community Associations/Pro bono service: Serve as lead attorney for Nelson Mullins on JUST Georgia project, a consortium of non profit organizations and Atlanta law firms seeking to conduct a statewide review of the Georgia juvenile justice system for the purposes of making recommendations for system and Juvenile Codes revisions, 2007 - 2009; Administrator for Atlanta Legal Aid/Atlanta Bar ADRL Section Pro Bono mediation program, 2007 - 2009; attorney volunteer in Wills for Heroes program, drafting wills and powers of attorney for law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMTs in the state of Georgia, 2003-2009; teacher/trainer for the Consortium on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, College of Law, Georgia State University's program on Conflict Resolution Programs in Public Schools, 1999-2002; member grantmaking committee for Atlanta Women's Foundation, 2001-2003; mentor for Inman Middle School Mentor Program, 1996-2001; Maternal and Child Health Institute, pro bono legal counsel, 2000-2001.
