Susan Keating Anderson
Susan Keating Anderson is a partner at Walter | Haverfield who practices management-side labor & employment and education law. She has advanced experience as chief counsel in labor arbitrations spanning a broad range of issues, including termination, discipline and contract interpretation issues. She also represents her clients in labor negotiations, and in employment-related litigation in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings before the State Employment Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. In addition to her labor practice, Anderson provides general counsel to her clients on a wide array of issues. Anderson’s clients include boards of education, municipalities and county boards of developmental disabilities, and she is currently labor counsel for the City of Elyria and the solicitor for the Village of Put-in-Bay.
Anderson has been a practicing attorney for 18 years, having graduated from Capital University School of Law, magna cum laude, in 2002. Anderson was selected to Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars for both Employment & Labor and Schools & Education from 2009-2012 and she speaks regularly on labor and employment-related topics.
