Ryan J. Lemmerbrock is a principal with Muskovitz & Lemmerbrock, LLC. He has been practicing labor and employment law in Ohio since 2003. For the past 17 years, Ryan has represented public and private sector labor unions throughout Ohio in a range of labor-relation matters, including collective bargaining, arbitration, mediation, administrative hearings and general litigation. He has represented unions and employees in cases before various Ohio state courts, the U.S. District Court, the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and the Ohio Supreme Court, as well as various state and federal administrative agencies.
Ryan is currently a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee, and serves on the Board of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association. He is also the past Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Ryan has served as a lecturer on various labor law topics including advocacy in disciplinary matters and arbitration hearings, handling unfair labor practices, and vacating and enforcing arbitration awards. He was also a contributing author for Elkouri & Elkouri, How Arbitration Works.
Prior to returning to Ohio, Ryan was a law clerk for the Division of Judges of the National Labor Relations Board and the DC Employment Justice Center in Washington, D.C.
Ryan received a BA from Miami University and a JD with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law.
