A Winnetka native and New Trier graduate, Judith mediates and arbitrates complex commercial cases, specializing in legally complex, high-emotion, high-stakes disputes. She teaches Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration at Cornell Law School and serves as a Judge Pro Tem, Referee and Special Master for the Commerce Court of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Judith is a Distinguished Fellow in the International Academy of Mediators, a Fellow in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the College of Commercial Arbitrators and of The Academy of Court Appointed Neutrals. Judith chairs the International Standards Commission of the International Mediation Institute in The Hague. She serves on numerous ADR panels including the AAA, AHLA, NAM, EEOC, FINRA, ADROptions, CPR Institute National Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, CIETAC, and the Singapore Mediation Centre. Judith serves as Judge Pro Tem/mediator for the Philadelphia Commerce Court, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the ICC, the Circuit Courts of Maryland, the Bankruptcy Court, Delaware, and the USDC Eastern District, Pennsylvania. She serves on the E-Discovery Panel for the USDC Western District of Pennsylvania. She was “Of Counsel” to Bazelon, Less & Feldman, Philadelphia, partner in Lande, Rolston and Meyer, Beverly Hills, and the first woman partner in Meserve, Mumper & Hughes, Los Angeles. A graduate of Cornell Law School, Judith has been voted a SuperLawyer 2005 through 2014 and is listed in Best Lawyers in America in ADR.
