Eric Schatz is a Vice President with Arcadis, a global design and consulting firm.  He leads their Contract Solutions practice in the Eastern US, and focuses on analyzing construction claims for delays, disruption and additional costs.  With nearly 20 years of experience as a claims expert and construction manager, Eric has worked on a wide range of projects for owners, contractors, designers and insurers, with claims ranging from hundreds of thousands of dollars to more than one billion dollars.

Eric earned his Bachelor’s of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and his Masters of Engineering Management degrees from Dartmouth College. He is a Professional Engineer, a Planning and Scheduling Professional, and was named as one of ENR New England’s Top 20 under 40 construction professionals.  Eric has assisted clients to resolve complex construction disputes prior to arbitration or trial on over 90% of his engagements.
