Baldwin J. Lee heads the Employment Law Group in Northern California. His mediation and arbitration practice focuses upon employment-related matters. Baldwin has successfully settled the full range of wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment actions, as well as wage/hour class actions. He also has successfully mediated commercial litigation matters requiring special sensitivity to Asian cultural or language issues.

 

Baldwin serves on the Executive Committee of the Fee Dispute (Mediation and Arbitration) Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF). He also provides training for mediators and arbitrators, including teaching Advanced Arbitrator Training for the BASF. Baldwin additionally is appointed to mediate employment cases by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Baldwin serves as an arbitrator and mediator with the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

 

Baldwin keeps current regarding employment and wage/hour law not only through his mediation practice, but also through his active practice. Baldwin has previously represented both employees and employers. Baldwin has substantial prior experience litigating employment cases and handling jury trials before California’s state and federal courts.

 

Baldwin obtained his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his J.D. from The University of Chicago. After law school Baldwin clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Ginger Berrigan.
