Arbitrator in commercial disputes since 1977, including disputes involving electronic data processing. American Arbitration Association panelist in various capacities since 1977, handling mostly commercial arbitrations.
Allan was graduated with honors in 1976 from Seton Hall University School of Law. He passed the New Jersey Bar and was admitted to practice that same year. He has been a guest lecturer at Seton Hall Law School. He has also instructed the Skills and Methods Course in Criminal Law for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
He has been a presenter in its seminars to New Jersey attorneys and appears from time to time as a guest lecturer in criminology courses at Rutgers University.
