This program will focus on tribunal dynamics in a commercial arbitration and examine the arbitral tribunal selection process from a counsel, arbitrator and institutional perspective.

Topics will include:

  • What parties are looking for in a tribunal
  • Institution resources
  • Arbitrator surveys

Program attendees will have the opportunity to learn from the experts and gain valuable insights into how to select an efficient, economical and qualified arbitral tribunal for their case.


As part of its long-standing, ongoing educational mission, the American Arbitration Association grants a limited number of scholarships that cover the cost of educational program registration. Scholarship eligibility is limited to students, government workers, retired professionals, arbitrators/mediators who are no longer active on the AAA roster, and others as may be determined by the AAA.
