60 Minutes Sometimes, when mediation or arbitration alone are not sufficient to resolve a complex dispute, the solution may lie in the hybrid process med-arb. Administered well, med-arb can address the parties’ interests (as a mediation would and an arbitration might not) either by agreement or by final decision of the mediator-arbitrator, and it can bring the dispute to close (as an arbitration would and mediation might not). During this 60-minute recorded webinar, arbitrators/mediators Christopher Albertyn and John Kagel provide a brief overview of the med-arb process and explore in depth various best practices that mediators and arbitrators can use to effectively administer the process. Listening to this presentation you will learn
…and lots more. Knowing the particulars of an alternative dispute resolution process such as med-arb is only half the recipe for success. Using the process effectively will help you to achieve desired outcomes. Whether you are an arbitrator or mediator, this webinar will optimize your knowledge and use of med-arb.
