Faculty and Summary

80 Minutes

This recorded presentation addresses the issues related to remote workplaces that employers have had to face as they shifted their workforce to remote offices and homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic continues to pose a threat to the workplace, these issues remain a concern to both employers and employees and continue to evolve. The presentation addresses remote work-related wage and hour issues, data and cybersecurity practices, disabilities and accommodations, monitoring employees and their productivity, as well as employee privacy concerns and laws. A panel of experienced employment lawyers share their perspectives on behalf of both employers and employees, as well as their suggestions for best practices.
