Arbitration hearings can be much more flexible than a trial in court. Experienced arbitrators and advocates know that the arbitration hearing often can be tailored to fit the circumstances of the particular case.

This program is designed to teach participants how to become more effective representatives in an arbitration proceeding. Through lecture, facilitated discussions, interactive exercise, the experienced faculty will examine the following topics:

  • Opening Statements
  • Arbitrability, Subpoenas and Evidence Issues
  • Strategies for Proper Witness Examination

Labor and management representatives including union representatives, human resources professionals, attorneys, shop stewards, business agents, and individuals who assist advocates in the preparation and presentation of evidence for labor arbitration cases will find the information in this program invaluable.
